The future of athlete heart safety

Our wearable tech helps prevent sudden cardiac arrest in athletes before symptoms appear.

The Athlete Life Vest makes it proactive.

A Silent Threat

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) often strikes without warning, even in young and seemingly healthy athletes. 70% of cases show no warning symptoms beforehand. With survival dependent on immediate medical response, prevention is the best defence. The Athlete Life Vest helps detect early warning signs before an incident occurs, enabling timely prevention and potentially saving lives.

Outdated Screening

Traditional health checks only view a one-time snapshot, which fails to account for the spontaneous onset of these conditions during activity. The paucity of continuous health screening contributes to preventable athlete deaths. The Athlete Life Vest provides continuous, real-time monitoring, offering a far more accurate picture of an athlete’s heart health across their career. It fills the critical gap where dangerous arrhythmias often go undetected - until it's too late.

Technological Advancements

Only recently has sensor and software technology advanced enough to make wearable, real-time ECG monitoring a possibility. The ALV is built on cutting-edge innovation, delivering a level of insight and protection that was simply not possible before.

Athlete Life Vest

Our solution finds synergy in health and performance data to fill the gap in athlete safety. This offers a new standard for safety and performance, without behaviour change or holding athletes back.

Introducing the Athlete Life Vest

A lightweight, clinical-grade ECG wearable engineered for high-performance sport. The Athlete Life Vest is a sleek compression vest embedded with medical electrodes that continuously track heart activity during exercise (when athletes are most at risk). Real-time analysis detects dangerous arrhythmias and early signs of cardiac strain, offering timely alerts to allow preventative intervention, with the potential to save lives. Health and performance data is transmitted wirelessly to a pitch-side clinician or synced app, providing instant feedback, long-term trending insights, and enhanced screening capabilities. Designed to be non-invasive, comfortable, and completely wireless, the Athlete Life Vest brings health protection to the field.

Every beat counts

Here’s How We Monitor It

1. Worn during activity

Players wear the Athlete Life Vest during training or competition. It continuously records ECG and key health/performance data, safeguarding athletes while they push the limits of their potential.

2. Real time Monitoring

Data is securely streamed to pitch-side computers, where clinicians can interpret it in real time. AI-driven insights and alerts will simplify complex datasets. This instantly highlights any unusual trends for prompt review.

3. Incident detection

If signs of risk emerge from the trending data, clinicians are alerted. Athletes can be removed discreetly for assessment and early treatment, avoiding public medical events and enabling safer outcomes. Preventative treatment is much more favourable to the harsh reactive methods used to bring athletes back from cardiac arrest.

4. Expert aftercare

Identifying issues early allows for proper medical planning and follow-up. This improves recovery, supports return-to-play decisions, and prioritises athlete wellbeing.
